Letting Go of Fear

FEAR - False Expectations Appearing Real

FEAR - False Expectations Appearing Real

Why Are We So Fearful?

We live in a body that has been programmed for fear by our primitive brain.  It is the first “go to” response we have in new situations that we are uncertain about. It is called the fight or flight response.

Many of us live in this knee  jerk reaction state 95% of the time…… AND the problem is, the more we are there, the more we stay there! This is because of facilitated neurological pathways that form in our brain and nervous system.  It is like water wearing a groove in the ground running down a hill. The more often it rains, the deeper the groove gets. Your body becomes more and more accustomed to responding with fear until it becomes difficult to break the pattern.

Long term stress and fear break down the body and create illness. Our immune system is compromised, the adrenals become exhausted and we pump ourselves up with caffeine, the thyroid gives out and we take medication, men get Viagra and so on and on the story goes…………………

Sometimes we have been reacting fearfully for so long that we don’t even recognize it is Fear! We think it is “normal”. America is famous for this….our lives becoming smaller and smaller and smaller the more information we receive because “What if” something can happen? What if this happens? What if that happens? And, so, nothing happens! Except that we become frozen in fear.

Fear is a very complex and wide ranging problem. There are layers upon layers of fearful behaviors we think are normal. It has settled into our DNA. My friend Rumi Da put if very succinctly….he once said, “You are living in a monkey and it is full of fear.” He was referring to our body………so even when we consciously begin to let go of fear our body holds memory that needs to be shifted.

The Letting Go of Fear sessions are to help you understand, let go, and reprogram your self for a life Free of Fear.  Long Distance Healing Groups

Fear often lies under:

Worry

1. to torment oneself with or suffer from disturbing thoughts; fret

2. to move with effort

To rush

1. To move, act, or progress with speed, impetuosity, or violence.

2. To dash, esp. to dash forward with an attack or onslaught

Anger

1. a strong feeling of displeasure and belligerence aroused by a wrong; wrath; ire.

Control

1. the act or power of controlling; regulation; domination or command: Who’s in control here?

Some examples are:

  • The big one nowadays is “worrying” about money. It is not as much below the surface now as it used to be. A lot of people are downright afraid about their financial situation. But if you are constantly worrying about how it is all going to work, especially if you are still okay, that is fear.
  • Are you constantly asking for more information, no matter how much you get, before you take an action?
  • Do you constantly have to have stimulation of some sort? TV, talking, radio, working, etc.? What happens when you give yourself a day without all of that?
  • Feeling rushed? Does anxiety creep in? What are you anxious about?
  • Always in a  hurry? ………..  Why?……..  What is going to happen?……… Normal response is, “I have so much to do.”  My response is…….you can do a lot without being in a hurry.  Check out the feeling of “being in a hurry”. What might be lying underneath it? Afraid of being late, afraid of not getting something done? For example:   If I am late or don’t get it done….I could get reprimanded. If I get enough reprimands I could loose my job.
  • Need to be in control constantly?  It is okay to want  control your own life, but if your need to control extends out to managing everything and everyone else you might want to ask yourself what you are afraid of. This often hides under the belief that no one will do as good a job as you, people aren’t trustworthy, etc.

When you have  Intuition and Knowing and you tap into it, you will stay safe and fear will rarely be needed. When you cleanse your body and provide it the nutrients it needs it can begin to let go of the toxins formed by fear……yes there is a biochemistry to fear. Your brain also will  store neuro-toxins… all of these things help to keep you cycling back through fear.

Many things can help you break through this, meditation, energy work and healing sessions, good diet, sound and music, etc.  Letting Go of Fear healing sessions are designed to help you break free. They engage the power of group energy, so in addition to whatever work I am doing, everyone in the group is helping each other through practicing the prayers and meditations I give.

I am looking forward to a Fear-less future.

Manifest your Vision with Help from Intuitive Feng Shui

July 28th, 2009 medwards Posted in Abundance & Prosperity, Feng Shui, Intuition No Comments »

An example of Feng Shui Bagua - a map of sorts!

Did you know that Feng Shui, the ancient art of placement and balancing, can help you realize your Intentions?

Don’t go rushing to find a book (you may or may not already have!) on what you need to do by the rules.

Today I want to talk to you about Intuitive Feng Shui. I am a certified Black Sect Feng Shui practitioner but I want to show you something you can use without needing to study all of this information. This method utilizes one of our most wonderful assets, our Intuition!

Here are the simple steps you can use to bring more energy to your vision.

1. Select an intention or goal you are currently choosing to manifest. Write it down. Imagine yourself in a life where this intention or goal is already manifest, doesn’t it feel really good?

2. Ask yourself, “What room in my home or business needs attention to help me manifest this vision?” (It can also be an area in your yard or property.)

3. Go to that room or area and ask yourself, “What is the most important thing in this room (or area) that needs attention to help me manifest my vision?”

4. The next question is, “What do I need to change, add and or take away now to move energy and help me create my vision?”

5. Go for it! Change the energy in this room and see how things start to move.

You may find yourself with more than one answer and they may all help. To start, keep it simple. You want to go with the absolute first impression that comes to your mind. This is the impression we often brush aside if we have not been honoring the power of Intuition. It usually comes in the first 5 seconds. Something may all of a sudden stand out like a sore thumb. It might feel more like an impression than a thought.

If you feel stuck, pretend you know. You may think this is foolish but pretending can bring answers from deep in your subconscious mind. Just go with it and play. You can say something like, “in my imaginary world what would I change to bring more energy to my vision?” This is you finding your own guidance. All the information and rules in Feng Shui are nice to know but the essential element is Energy. When you change energy in a way that creates more balance and pleases you, it will send a ripple effect out into your world. Don’t worry about being and expert!

Tips for opening your right brain for this exercise are:

1. Close your right eye and only look through the left.

2. Write your intention with the opposite hand you normally write with.

3. Stand on your left leg.

I know these may sound crazy but, because we have a cross-over neurological flow in our brains, standing on your left leg or looking out of your left eye will help to activate your right brain intuitive side.

Enjoy creating some new energy and have a blessed day.
