This energetic support will culminate on Dec. 21, 2010 at 6:38 pm EST when I energetically balance the acupuncture horary points for the Winter Season.

Stillness Balancing Action - the Energy for this Solstice ~ Divine Feminine Power Regains it’s Place in Balance with the Divine Masculine

We are entering into a time of renewal coupled with some major energetic influences. These energies can help bring about big change if we harness them and work with them wisely.

At Winter’s Solstice we will begin our journey out of the ever increasing darkness back into the light. We will be preparing ourselves in this winter time to bring forth what we want to manifest in the Spring. This year the solstice seems like a time of stillness in action……if that is possible! Planetary aspects are calling for action and grounding ideas into the physical but in a new way. The old is to be discarded and new ideas and ways of being in relationship with each other and the Earth are being called forth. The old ways of doing, doing, doing, going, going, going without respecting the bowl of energy (so to speak) from which we are nourished are over. A new magical energy is forming, one of Grace, of intuition, of deep nurturing for our New Reality. In the midst of all this craziness we are being called to remember this and create action from it.

My way of interpreting these many aspects, too numerous to mention here today, is to discover a new place to take action from. Actually, an ancient place, but one long forgotten by many…. and now making an ever stronger debut on the planet. Like the picture above, retreating to the deep womb-space within ourselves where we are in touch with the energy of the Divine Feminine nurturing energy. With this retreat comes the recognition of the powerful gifts and blessings of life bestowed upon us daily.

No more taking this for granted! Take responsibility for your life and live it in a new and more profound way. Have the courage to break free of these old habits and you will see magnificent change. The mind wants to expand into something deeper and infinitely more gratifying than it has experienced in the past. A deep transformation is taking place……you will never be the same if you embrace it.

When we go within to this space, before taking action, we fill ourselves with what we need in order to proceed. We have long put the cart before the horse, resting after we take action. If we take the time to go within, allowing ourselves to rest in the knowledge that all Life everywhere is being constantly maintained and supported, we will then take action with our gas tanks full and our maps will be in place. We will not get lost or run out of gas.

This can be a scary approach as many of us have been facing our biggest wounds and fears once again!

We have a full moon lunar eclipse this Solstice about 16 hours before the actual Solstice. This is the first time this has happened in over 300 years. This is a time to cast off ancient hurts, prejudices and shackles……don’t get caught up in the old stories. Many have been facing extreme challenges this month leading up to these last few weeks of the year. You are facing them to let go and recreate yourself from a new (to you now, but not really! ) incredibly inspiring place.

Kidney/Bladder Energy

This is the time of year to balance our kidney/bladder chi. Kidney/bladder fires and holds our Spirit Essence, our Life Force, which provides will power, creativity, sexual energy and fuels ambition. The Kidney Meridian is considered the “Root of Life” because it houses the essence we receive conception. This meridian also includes the adrenals (which are physically on top of the kidneys.) The adrenal glands secrete a wide array of essential hormones that regulate metabolism, support immunity, and control sexual potency and fertility. The Chinese also considered Kidney energy  to control the health of bone and marrow, which also included the brain and the spinal cord in their interpretation.

The Bladder excretes the waste……..time to let go!

This is the time of year we can draw in this Life Force energy to fuel us for the coming year. If we do not take time to do this during the Winter months we may feel out of sorts and tired for our entire coming year. Take time to relax, spend time joyfully with good friends, the earth, and yourself. Renew, renew, renew so that your life force will be ready for a very brilliant expression that is coming in this New Year of 2011.

Signs of imbalance in this energy can be swelling, bloating,  difficulty urinating, great anxiety, and inability to digest food. High blood pressure can show up if the blood flow through your kidneys is inadequate. Inability to cope, fear of change, craving salt, loss of balance can also indicate lack of harmony in the Kidney/Bladder meridians.

Fear of letting go can bring on phobias. Believe me this year you Have To Let Go! If I can say one thing to you, Let Go, Let Go, Let Go…….each time go deeper into your Being. Let go of everything you thought was “the way it was”. Let your divine creativity bring you a new paradigm and embrace it with positive right action.

Spend the last few weeks of this year positively focusing on the magic you want to create, renewing yourself and taking solid steps towards a new reality. Rest when you need to, that is a step towards creating!  Spend time out in Nature. Nature will give you the message…..She is not busy now! She is still, preparing for the new in the Spring.

May your coming year be blessed with an all encompassing knowing of the Beauty of Your Spirit and the most incredible Divine Love that supports it.

This year’s Equinox is full of change.

Astrologically the elements are asking us to find out where we need to take a stand and where we need to create more harmony …a full moon and harvest moon will be occurring just 6 hours after the Equinox. The sun will be in Libra asking for more harmony and to take a look at relationships while the full moon will be in Aries asking what we need to let go of and where we need to take a stand.

Many of us are finding ourselves feeling like we have lost our rudder as this whole year has been about letting go of old ways of doing things and birthing in new ways. Some of us feel worn out by all of this.

This Fall Equinox has arrived just in time for those of us whose nerves are shot by all the activity this year. As we move into the energy of fall we are shifting gears toward more inner reflection. But, we may find we have to find new ways to do this, sometimes even in the midst of extreme turmoil!

The daylight is slowly starting to decrease and our energy is getting quieter…or wanting to! For those of you in more northern areas it is probably already turning cool. We are just getting a hint of that now here in Florida. It is coming and going.

In Chinese medicine the Metal element is associated with Autumn. The organs of Metal are Lungs and Large Intestine.

The lungs are our receiver of energy and chi from the Heavens (air) that helps sustain our life force through-out our lives. The Large Intestines help us to eliminate waste. Through our Lung channels we take in inspiration and through the Large Intestines we let go of negativity.

This is a time of reflection where we look back on what we have done this year and decide what worked and what didn’t. It is a time for forgiving ourselves and others. We have received the harvest of late summer and now we accept where we are and let go, releasing all negativity in preparation for the stillness and recuperating time of winter. If we don’t let go and allow ourselves to cleanse out any unwanted thoughts, deeds or feelings we will not rest easily in the quiet of Winter and will not be able renew ourselves for Spring.

Some imbalances during this time could show up as sinus infections and sore throats. I have seen a rash of these in the last week! Also lung problems and colds can show an imbalance. This is a good time of year to do deep breathing exercises, especially during the Lung time of 3-5 am. Deep breathing will also stimulate your Large Intestines to eliminate and the peak hours for that is 5-7 am.

One of the gifts of the Metal element is the ability to inspire. So, look deeply inside and see what inspires you. Spend some time in Nature and be inspired by her never ending beauty and mystery.

This may be a time when deep grief surfaces to be healed. Allow it to flow out of you and empty yourself for the time of winter. As is true in nature, Autumn is a time when we consolidate our energies and prepare for the austerity of Winter.  When our ability to do that breaks down, so too, does our ability to preserve what is nourishing to the body, mind and spirit.

This is a time to search for spiritual food. Try not to live in the past and in a sense of what could have been. Let go and breathe.

This is an alchemical time of year in a year that is alchemical. Nothing can stay the same, we must find new ways and now is a time to find new ways to inspire yourself, let go on ever deeper and deeper levels. Find forgiveness on levels you never thought possible and Let Go of the Past. Go Within. Find your True Self.

The Centering Point

We are now entering a time that is a point of centering between the yang energies of Spring/Summer and the Yin energies of Fall/Winter. This is the time of receiving the Nurturing energy of  The Mother; Mother Earth, Divine Mother, and Mothering in general.

Earth Element - Late Summer - Centering Point

The time of late summer is the balancing point in our year. The yang energy of spring and summer are slowing down and we are getting ready to
switch into the yin energy of fall and winter.

This is the time of the Earth element. The “mother” energy that is stabilizing and caring and a center point for the family. So, this is a time of balancing the appropriateness of caring for others and caring for the self.

The Earth element commands our sense of taste, controls fat and flesh, and it’s direction is Center. It’s color is yellow and it controls damp and mucous in the body.

If this energy  is out of balance  you could find yourself eating too much in an attempt to give yourself some attention and nurturing. In addition, you might have the added discomfort of not digesting things well or having excess mucous in your body.  If this is so, take some time to do other things that nourish you. Work on allowing yourself to receive compliments, touch, nurturing, support and ease. Accept offers for help.

An imbalance here can also manifest as a lack of focus and see-sawing back and forth between extremes. Decision making can be difficult. Other elements in astrology at this time (too numerous to mention in this article!) are also lending themselves to this see-sawing effect. Many people are feeling confused and not knowing what to do. This makes grounding and nurturing yourself doubly important at this time. Spend time outside with your bare feet on the ground!

The organs affected by this season are the Stomach and the Spleen. When the energy of these organs is out of balance it can affect the mind as well as the body.

A person with a Stomach  imbalance may look like “no one is home”. They might feel overwhelmed by too much information or unable to understand what is being said. Too much information can cause confusion and anxiety. If this is happening to you, SLOW DOWN and SIMPLIFY. Take as much off your plate as possible and TRUST that you will be embraced by the arms of the Nurturing Mother and cared for. It is a sign that you need to receive!

Distress can also manifest itself when the energy of the Spleen channel is imbalanced. The Spleen is considered the transporter of energy and if this function is not working smoothly, then worry and stress can set in which can cause as many problems as a physical blockage in the body. You won’t have the energy you need to get things done or you may feel “fried”.

The Earth element and its officials, the Stomach and the Spleen, are integral to the efficient running and maintenance of our mind, body and spirit. They are the furnace that keeps our engines well stoked and full of power and energy -  for our physical well being and  our mind and spirit. They are also the means by which we transport energy around our system to all the areas that require stimulation and energy.

For a healthy and rewarding existence it is very important to have balance in these channels of energy before we can even look into other areas that might require assistance for our well being.

The Earth is in Our Hands

Join together to hold a loving, healing space for the Earth with special emphasis on the Gulf of Mexico

As the days go by and we see the situation in the Gulf continue to worsen, I think we can understand that this situation could use love and attention on an ongoing basis. Do not think that this situation is not affecting you just because you do not live on a state that borders the Gulf of Mexico.

This  event has the potential to harm all of earth’s ocean if the spill is not contained. The information given to the press by BP has not reflected the seriousness of the situation but new information from the scientific community is showing us daily that this is an event that needs our love and attention.

Some of the information below was in last weeks post but I am restating it here for those who are new. Please check out the link below. This page shows you the currents of the ocean and how they flow and you will understand the magnitude of what could happen if the oil gets into the Loop Current in the Gulf and from there, into the Gulf Stream.

I worked on the ocean and around oil rigs for 12 years as a boat captain….I have seen the damage that happens just from normal drilling operations. I have also seen first hand the negligence of the oil companies in maintaining offshore wells after they have been capped and are no longer useful. I think these issues are important to address. All the money in the world will not keep life on this planet if our oceans are devastated.

There is evidence that we really can heal our Mother Earth through intent, love, and the action of scientific prayer. Check out The Global Coherance Initiative.

Princeton University’s PEAR research has also revealed how our consciousness can affect our reality. But there is one ingredient that is crucially important in changing our current reality. That ingredient is belief. Our belief systems can stop us. If you can’t believe in it and hold the vision it won’t work. Many of the beliefs that stop us are subconscious or so entrenched we don’t recognize them for what they are, fear, doubt, anger, etc. This is why I am offering the free long distance healing session below.

There is power in prayer and holding love in your hearts to help create a new and healthy earth. In this healing session we will hold prayer for the water of our oceans and specifically the Gulf of Mexico.

In using the model of quantum physics in healing we work with something called “downward causation”. This is a concept based on working with the energy of probabilities and shifting things on the level of Consciousness. These probabilities then filter down into the physical. While I believe it is beneficial to take physical action, it is more effective if we change the consciousness behind it first so that we do not continue to create the same problems. At this Solstice Celebration, we take note that we have ‘made it through’ a difficult year. There is hardly a soul unaffected by the political, economic, security, or health controversies swirling around the planet these days. Now, we are ready to Take-A-Break!

Mars, the planet of action, adrenalin and sometimes anger, is Retrograde now until 10 March of next year. Our energy slows with the winter season, and it may well remain slow or even stalled, until spring.

This is a cycle best utilized by spending time in reflection and taking stock of our lives. Cultivating new ways of cooperating, being more objective, withdrawing inside to inventory ourselves and our behavior is most helpful. The energy available now can be very positive, if we do not ‘push-the-river’.

Students of history do well to look at the lessons of the past, and find ways to apply those experiences to problems we face in the present and for clues to our direction in the future.

If the ways we have been functioning or the people we have been spending time with are not contributing to helping us achieve our higher purpose, we need to step back, make changes in our methods, and release people that anchor or stifle us inappropriately. Fall Back, Regroup, Adapt and Overcome. Those who work with the Tarot will recognize the association with the 4 of Swords and stepping out of the battle of daily life, to rest.

Mercury, the information planet adds to the clean-it-up campaign as it turns Retrograde in it’s orbit from 27 December until 15 January. We do well to attend to old paperwork, repair any rifts with parents or siblings, reconnect with schoolmates of days gone by, and consider donating books no longer used to the library or local resale shop. Reformulate plans of the past that need updating. Plant seeds of new thought and direction. Release old beliefs that no longer serve.

The financial gluttony of recent years is required to give way to the conservative air of the present, and the near future. Frugal is ‘in’. It took a long time to dig the financial pit that money is in; we must allow proportionate and patient effort to lift ourselves out.

The ‘Flower Children’ of the 1960’s are in power now. How are we (yes, I’m one…) using that power? Now is the time to make those visions and ideals become a reality. Solar and wind energy were jokes back then, pursued mostly by independent visionaries; now they are rapidly becoming a reality for the masses. Using your current talents, or developing new ones to participate in the new paradigm is the direction of the future.

What personal  ‘old’ visions hide in our thoughts, that could actually be manifest in reality now? What unique surprises, brilliant inventions, or healing gifts remain untapped in your personal subconscious? It’s a magical time of planning, planting seeds, changing directions and looking for better methods to achieve the reality of our dreams. If anyone doubts the belief in making your dreams really come true, stop and reflect on the meteoric rise to fame that Susan Boyle of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ achieved, this past year.

Whether individually or collectively, we have the power at a grass-roots level, to make a difference. Charitable organizations or legal systems may or may not rescue a neighbor who is living in chaos. A simple gift of a casserole, a donation of a book or a toy for a child, or shoveling the snow covered driveway of a senior citizen can make a world of difference in a life.  There are countless opportunities to help, if we slow down a moment to breathe deeply and look around us.

December’s Lunar Eclipse in Cancer and the Solar Eclipse in Capricorn to follow in January, urge letting go of old emotional responses and views that no longer serve our current home and family, and propel us toward a new form of security based on structure, conservation, and practical leadership. Unethical behavior on the part of those who are chosen to be our leaders is likely to come to the attention of the public. None of us are exempt from the need to clean up our act.

One of the herbs associated with this season is Mistletoe. It has the gift of bringing positive energy into the home, and sharing the tradition of a kiss under the mistletoe allows our spirits to open to the deeper creativity within ourselves.

Life is changing, without doubt. How will we adapt to these inevitable changes, in order to manifest the Highest Good for ourselves and for all? Take the time and opportunity at this Winter Solstice for that reflective thought…

FREE LONG DISTANCE HEALING GROUP ~ FALL EQUINOX ~ SEPTEMBER 22, 2009

Please join us on Tuesday, September 22nd for a free healing and meditation for the fall equinox.

Take a moment to connect to the earth and welcome the change of seasons.

September 22nd is the first day of Fall this year. A time for bringing
in the Harvest and celebrating the abundance in our lives. I feel
this is a time for deepening our connection to our own Heart and
using this profound deepening to open our minds to new awareness,
new ways of accomplishing & receiving and to Unity.
 
This year the Fall Equinox occurs during a Mercury in Libra retro-
grade period with a strong opposition happening with Saturn and
Uranus.
 
The ways of Saturn in Virgo at this time are the ways of the old;
the tried and true ways of doing things, the structures of the past.
Uranus in Pisces brings in the winds of change for the future,
universal ideas and ideologies. The most immediate example of this
“old vs. new” energy would be in the debate over Health Care at this
 time. You can see that things are pretty intense!
 
The Mercury retrograding into Libra has us reviewing the issues of
“partnerships” on many levels.
 
All of this is also occurring at the time of the Equinox. The Long
Distance Meditation and Healing Session will be focused on opening
the Heart for these new universal, inclusive energies of change,
balancing our partnerships and manifesting through Unity Conscious-
ness instead of duality. So, stepping out of fear, above the push me-
pull me battle going on right now, and stepping into the Heart.
 
I will begin the session before Sunrise on the 22nd of September by
loading all members of the group onto my SCIO, a quantum biofeedback
device. It will give me an overview of the energy of the group. I
will then be in meditation at sunrise for approximately 45 minutes.
This will be followed with a balancing session on the SCIO for the
group. I like to do the meditation and then observe the changes on
the SCIO, it gives me an idea of what the meditative state may have
shifted. Sometimes, that by itself is pretty phenominal! I will send
a brief overview of this session the following day to all partici-
pants. You are also welcome to join in, if you have the time, during
the meditation. Otherwise, you may participate by saying the prayer
and mantra I will provide. You may also set your intention to
benefit from this group experience by holding yourself and all who
participate in the highest good.

When creating through the Heart one ceases to cause duality
reactions…….here comes the good………here comes the
bad……… The brain becomes the servant of the Heart and instead
of constantly rolling the film of subconscious memories (which are
constantly helping create your reality) it can quiet itself and
listen for “Inspiration” coming from deep within the Heart.
 
Many times we may believe we are in our Heart but we have only
skimmed the surface of the depth of being, awareness and truth that
are available there. It literally can be like walking in another
world, and a very wonderful one.
 
The purpose of these group sessions will be to increase creativity,
prosperity, health and to release fears. I developed the groups for
several reasons. One was to harness the power and energy of people
working together. The second reason was to provide affordable
assistance during these difficult financial times. There are several
levels of participation available.
